This note explains what personal data Strategic Art Investor collects, why, and what rights you have over it. We keep it short and plain, because that is the point of it.
Strategic Art Investor (“we”, “us”) publishes a market-intelligence briefing. For the purposes of UK data protection law, the data controller is Leonard Payne, contactable at rev.leonard.payne@gmail.com and Barnabas, Blackberry Lane, Lingfield, RH7 6NJ, United Kingdom.
We collect the email address you enter, together with the date and time of your request and the IP address it came from (a routine technical record that helps us prevent abuse of the form). We use this to send or provide the guide, and — because you asked to hear from us — to send occasional related updates about the briefing.
Payment is handled entirely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. To fulfil a subscription we receive from Stripe the information needed to send you the printed briefing — your name and postal address — and your email for order correspondence.
We keep free-guide email addresses until you ask us to remove them, or until they are clearly no longer in use. We keep subscriber and order records for as long as you are a subscriber and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our accounting and legal obligations.
We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary to run the service — for example, our payment provider (Stripe) for payments, and the postal services to post your briefing — and where the law requires it.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us to:
To exercise any of these, email rev.leonard.payne@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
